For what it's worth is both an offering and an acknowledgment. It is an invitation to sit with
moments that are deeply personal while recognizing that, once shared, they no longer belong
only to me.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my installation.
My name is Cecilia Saldana, and I am a photographer based in Council Bluffs, Iowa. I am
currently studying photography at Metropolitan Community College.
My work spans a range of styles and often reads like a visual diary, drawing from chapters of
my life that were not always easy. While the experiences are deeply personal, they are rooted
in emotions that many people share. Through these photographs, I explore what it means to
hold onto memories, navigate change, and make sense of the moments that shape us.
When selecting these images, I wanted to leave many of them open to personal interpretation.
Rather than telling viewers what to see, I hope the work allows space for reflection for your
own memories, emotions, and experiences to meet mine. More than anything, I hope these
photographs ignite a feeling.
In the end, these images are simply my attempt to make sense of the world around me and
the life I've lived for what they're worth.
