Opening Reception: Friday, July 3, 6–9 PM
Ming Toy Gallery | 6066 Maple Street
Ming Toy Gallery presents Hello, Goodbye, a solo exhibition by Amy Webb.
Originally from the American South, Webb’s work examines the emotional complexities of rural life through themes of spiritual fear, memory, nostalgia, and environmental unease. Influenced by American Realism, Southern storytelling traditions, and years spent as a farm laborer in Mississippi, Webb creates dark, atmospheric landscapes with an acidic palette, exploring the psychological weight of place.
Webb earned her BFA in painting from the University of Mississippi, where she received the Outstanding Painting Award. She has exhibited nationally, with recent shows in the Southeast, Philadelphia, and Chicago.
Gallery Hours: Wednesday and Friday, 1–6 PM; Thursday, 3–8 PM; Saturday, 10 AM–1 PM; and by appointment.
