MaMo Gallery
Benson, Omaha
MaMo Gallery reopens for the season with Little Joys, a new installation by mixed-media artist Ben Dumas.
Little Joys is an assemblage of 365 objects collected over the course of a year, each representing a small, everyday moment that carries a deeper personal story. Beginning on December 31, 2024, Dumas committed to collecting one “little joy” each day throughout 2025 — transforming seemingly ordinary, discardable items into a growing archive of memory, reflection, and meaning.
Through this layered installation, the artist explores how small objects can hold emotional weight and help shape our understanding of home, place, and personal history.
