Benson Plant Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit specializing in the reclaiming/recycling all types of organic waste. We sell plants in our store and proceeds benefit the Omaha Public Library. Wendy Townley, executive director of the Omaha Public Library Foundation, said she couldn’t think of a larger donation given by a local community group than the $10,000 donation we made in 2018. Proceeds also fund the Community Produce Rescue which reclaims produce from Whole Foods and distributes it to a network of other nonprofits, shelters, and refugee families

In this speciality sculpture class, we'll design and fabricate our very own gargolyles looking at Grotesque architecture, gargoyles of the national cathedral, and the history behind the limestone creatures. Students will also use a clay body designed for sculptural work. Just in time to put it out for October!

250 per student, max two seats per class. Classes run for 4 weeks total and continue on the same time slot and day selected at sign-up. Please indicate which class you are signing up for in your initial email. Use link below to register.

We are located in BFF’s NEW Education Space and Communications Lab! The address is 5905 Maple Street. Art Club runs from 5PM-7PM most Thursdays (except on the eve of First Friday). You can drop in when you want and leave when you want! No pressure; just come create with us!

Bring in a project you’ve been working on or start something new! We have supplies to share! No cost or sign up required.

Through material exploration, contemporary art practices, and guided studio projects, participants will experiment with new techniques, develop ideas, and create original works in a collaborative studio setting. All materials are provided. Artists of all experience levels are welcome.
