Maple St. Construct is a creative-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that functions as an experimental studio, residency, and gallery founded, curated, and organized in Omaha, Nebraska. Our mission is to provide programming free to everyone as a public service to elevate the creative discourse in the communities we serve. Maple St. Construct serves a critical role in the promotion and presentation of art, design, and the built environment by bridging the discourse between outside and local cultural conventions with the community of Omaha, Nebraska and beyond.

In this speciality sculpture class, we'll design and fabricate our very own gargolyles looking at Grotesque architecture, gargoyles of the national cathedral, and the history behind the limestone creatures. Students will also use a clay body designed for sculptural work. Just in time to put it out for October!
250 per student, max two seats per class. Classes run for 4 weeks total and continue on the same time slot and day selected at sign-up. Please indicate which class you are signing up for in your initial email. Use link below to register.

Join BFF and artist Kim Darling for an 8-week studio workshop series exploring hand-built clay sculpture, artist books, and painting. Through material exploration, contemporary art practices, and guided studio projects, participants will experiment with new techniques, develop ideas, and create original works in a collaborative studio setting. All materials are provided. Artists of all experience levels are welcome.

Annie Butler is the director of the newly State designated Benson Creative District. Having served on the board for BFF Omaha (formerly Benson First Friday) since it’s inception in 2012, she has strong ties to both the arts and the Benson community at large.
First Friday has gone to the dogs! On September 6th, BFF Omaha and The Byrd Bath invite dogs and their owners to the Benson Creative District for “FURst Friday.”
For more than a decade, the Benson neighborhood in north central Omaha has been home to a community dedicated to creating a better neighborhood through arts engagement.
