Come tour Omaha's Urban Farm, Benson Bounty, with Conservation Nebraska!
Benson Bounty is a 1.5 acre sustainable farm in the middle of Omaha. Michelle and Mark Brannen are the owners and operators of Benson Bounty LLC which was established in 2015. On their small, sustainable farm, they grow some of their favorite vegetables and a wide variety of perennials such as native plants and other pollinator plants, herbs, rhubarb, sunchokes, fruit trees, and elderberry bushes. They are a small family-run business: it’s just Michelle and Mark, their three wonderful kids, and a whole lot of food and wildlife in the garden. During the tour they will discuss sustainable farming methods and implementing conservation practices. Hope to see you there!
